Real Betis have reached an agreement with Marc Bartra, extending the 34-year-old defender’s contract until the summer of 2027.

Bartra has struggled with injuries on a couple of occasions this season but has played a key role in Manuel Luis Pellegrini’s side, making 26 appearances in all competitions and will be a key player until the end of the season after Diego Llorente suffered a hamstring injury that kept him out for four months.

Bartra has agreed a two-year extension to replace his current deal. Which expires this summer, keeping the 34-year-old centre-back at Betico until the end of the 2026-27 season.
