Ingredients :

  Chicken Legs 2 pieces
   Salt (for marinating the chicken)
   Ground Pepper (for marinating the chicken)
   Corn Starch (for marinating the chicken)
   Vegetable Oil (for frying the chicken)
   Butter 1 tbsp
   Onion (diced) 1 piece
   Bay leaves 2 leaves
   Sage leaves 1/2 tsp
   Tomato Sauce 250 g Chili
   Sauce 120 g
   Chinese Rice Wine 1/2 tbsp
   Potatoes (cut into bite-sized pieces) 200 g
   Carrots (cut into bite-sized pieces) 200 g
   ​​ ​​​​​sour sauce 1 tbsp
   ​​ ​​​​​light soy sauce 1 tbsp
   ​​ ​​​​​​​​sugar 1/2 tbsp
   ​​ ​​​​​​​​chicken broth 500 ml
   ​​ ​​​​​​​​​salt
   ​​ ​​​​​​​​pepper

How to make chicken stew?

     1. Marinate chicken legs with salt and ground pepper. Soak in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
     2. Put vegetable oil in a pan. Put chicken legs and coat with corn starch. Then fry until cooked. Set aside.
     3. Put butter in a pan. Place over low heat. Add onion, bay leaf, sage, ketchup, chili sauce and Chinese rice wine. Stir-fry to combine. Season with sour sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt and ground pepper. Taste and adjust to your preference.
     4. Add chicken broth, potatoes and carrots, mix to combine. Then simmer over low heat until the vegetable mixture is tender. And the water starts to thicken, or about 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat, scoop into a bowl with the prepared fried chicken, ready to serve
